Your Success = Your Daily Routine

So many people fail to reach their goals. And it doesn’t have to be that way. It’s not because they aren’t capable. It’s not because the desire isn’t there. It’s not because they are lacking in the resources, the gifts or the talents. It’s not because the Universe or God isn’t on their side. The reason they fail is because their daily routine doesn’t support the full realization of a dream or the achievement of a goal. Your daily routine and habits must reflect what you want to accomplish and who you want to be.

Every morning (after hitting the snooze button several times) I thank the Good Lord for one more day. I drink half a bottle of water. Then I make the bed. Afterward, I head downstairs to stretch, do my breathing exercises and then my push-ups. I go back upstairs, and drink the rest of my water. I begin my day with gratitude, water, and movement. Everyday.

When I get settled, I drink my homemade black coffee (check out my blog on why I make my coffee at home; click HERE to read). After drinking my coffee, I have a cup of warm water, lime juice, and sea moss. And all this occurs while I’m fasting. Then I read. And write. I pray. I pull cards and talk to my Spirt guides. Everyday. Without fail. I log my fasting hours. I count how many ounces of water I drink. I am dedicated, consistent and faithful.

My daily routine is rooted in achieving optimal health; physically, spiritually and energetically. And so I fast, pray, read, write, drink water, stretch, and do breathwork everyday. And I can see and feel the results. I am the most healthy I have ever been in my life. I look good. I feel good. I have a peace and calm that grounds me in reality. I’ve written 7 books and over 100 blogs. I graduated with my Masters while raising my daughter and working a full time job. I’ve been intermittent fasting for almost four years and I have broken the generational curse of chronic dis-ease in my family.

It is not the things you do on occasion that will make you successful. It is the things you do consistently, daily, and without fail that will make you successful.

You can’t write every once in awhile and call yourself a writer.

You can’t value intelligence and free thinking and not read everyday.

You can’t eat all day everyday and expect to be healthy and at a desirable weight.

I have new a new goal; to become a six and then seven figure earner as an entrepreneur. And now I must establish a set of habits and adhere to a daily routine that will support the realization of that goal. And I can’t do those things every once in awhile, or on occasion. I must do them consistently, daily and without fail. Does your daily routine support your success or your stagnation?
